Meet Nick MacGregor, our Head Chef at 20 Stories. Born in New Zealand, Nick has been in the UK for the past 15 years and has been at the forefront of the foodie scene ever since. His expertise spans across 25 years, with experience across the hotel, restaurant, gastro pub and catering industries, specialising in Pan Asian, Modern and Classic British cuisine.

Creating and developing beautiful dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients from locally sourced farms and suppliers is a core passion for Nick. Growing up, Nick spent a lot of time fishing and foraging shellfish across the New Zealand coastline. This is where his love of seafood flourished.

Nick’s previous role at The Store Oxford found him developing exciting and innovate food and beverage menus for a restaurant, bar and terrace, all while mentoring and guiding upcoming chefs within his kitchen team.

Now working alongside 20 Stories Executive Chef, Daniel Scott, Nick’s culinary skills are continuously evolving as he adapts to new cooking styles and learns new trends within the kitchen, whilst bringing his expertise and style right here to the heart of Manchester.
