With 1st of February being International Furmint day, our sommelier team would like to highlight the Dry Furmint from St Tamas Mad for this month.
This wine comes from the heart of Tokaj in Hungary, from the small village of Mad. Here are made some of the world’s best sweet wines, but now also some of the best dry whites. The unique, mineral-driven flavours derive from the volcanic soil, which creates a wine with the purity of a Chablis and the texture of a Chenin Blanc.
A wonderful combination and a wine that works just as well as an aperitif as with food!
