This month, our sommelier Oliwia has chosen 2015 Vouvray Demi-Sec, Sylvain Gaudron, a wine that she recommends to enjoy with our West Farm pork chops and our selection of cheeses.

The Gaudron family goes back four generations and it is currently at the helm. They have been making wine in Vernou since about 1890, farming a 27-hectare vineyard, two thirds of it with an average age of 30 years.

Vouvray Demi-Sec is a honeyed Chenin Blanc from Loire, perfumed with fresh hay and kept taut and lively by lemon acidity yet with a welcome touch of sweetness.
